Hi all I'm new to this forum but not to braces, anyway..

I had my consultation today for Invisalign but I found out after, that they wouldn't fix the slight over jet I have on one tooth,so the orthodontist recommended Radiance they are fixed braces with sapphire brackets and are considerably cheaper then Invisalign
I have searched on the internet but couldn't find much information on it,was just wondering if anyone has Radiance braces at the moment or has had them and what there opinions were? as these are my next best option as I dont fancy having ceramic braces again.
Thanks for any help in advance :)

The above link shows them

Basically regular braces with clear, non staining brackets. Advantages over ceramic braces are less staining, arguably less visible. Ligatures still stain, but they would get changed at every adjustment.

I have these on the bottom and linguals on top. The cosmetic (tooth coloured) archwires can chip and show metal underneath, they look pretty good for about six weeks if you are careful. Some orthos use metal rather than cosmetic archwires.

You might want to post re these on the main forum
