I'm new to this board and new to invisalign. I've wanted braces since I was 12 (I'm 28 now) but have never been able to afford them...still kind of can't afford them, but I figure the boost in self confidence and self esteem will be worth the money. (I'm tired of covering my mouth every time I laugh). I have a small gap in my front top teeth but it's enough to make me feel insecure).
Anyway, I went for my impressions on Monday and now I'm just waiting for the Ortho to call me when the aligners get there. I hope that I won't have to redo the impressions. As far as I'm concerned, I've waited long enough! The 4-6 weeks is going to be torture enough!
I'll be sure to post before pics and show my progress. I'm not sure how long my treatment's going to be.
But any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
(This is a nice board...I've read a lot of post the last couple of days and it's really nice to know that I'm not alone!)
