attachments came off 4 months ago, bonding glue still there!

Hey all! hope you're well
just a quick question, so got my initial treatment attachments filed off about four months ago but whats REALLY annoying is that theres still a really thin layer of bonding glue still on one tooth which gives it a different texture/shine/look to the rest of my teeth
it feels like its never going to come off fully and I can't do anything to try chip it off because its so thinly layered
has anyone else experienced this? will it ever come off???!! also will it effect whitening??
any help/advice would be appreciated!
