Keep bending my alligner

#1 Post by pompompadom »

Right, lets see if I can explain this :D

I'm on my second set of alligners, both alligners I have bent at the back on the bottom set.

I mean the plastic has folded in ontself round one tooth so that it doesn't fit and I have to get an instrument to peel the plastic back out so that it'll fit, confused???

Does anyone get what I mean? Is it me putting them in wrongly?

That sounds bizarre. My aligners are firm right the way to the back which fits over my wisdom teeth. I'd ask your dentist about it, because my instinct is that it is a manufacturing fault.
Initial set: 31 upper / 17 lower
1st refinement: 14 upper / 10 lower
2nd refinement: 10 upper / 5 lower

Have you been drinking any hot liquids with them in?
