Aligners to blame for snoring?

I've now had my aligners in for a week and my husband hasn't been able to spend a night in the same room with me since 
- not because he is so repulsed by the aligners but because they seem to be making me snore!! Bad!!!! 
Has anyone else found this? Or is it just me? I've also had an ulcer on my tonsils since I put the aligners in, so not sure if the snoring is related to that or if its because my tongue is resting further back in my mouth with the aligners in.
If anyone has any experience of this I would love to hear about it.
