Midline Issues (2 more trays!)

I started off with 38 uppers and 26 lowers. I then had adjustments, of 8 traps top and bottom. LOTS of trays!!!

So I had my final appointment yesterday, where I got my LAST 2 trays! And he showed me the final video of what my teeth will look like- and my midling is off. It's off now, but I assuemd it would be corrected with the last few trays. I asked him about it, and he took a look at my teeth, and said to trust him- because it looked like the bottom midline was the one that was off, and he'd have to move the top teeth to match it, which he didn't recommend. The funny thing is, looking a mirror, it seems to me that the bottom teeth are the ones that line up with my center.

Also, I went through my email to find my old clin video- and it showes mt midline as being lined up?! So I wonder what happened in treatment, or why it was altered so drastically.

Recommendations? I'm also not 100% happy- one of the orthos I went to suggested moving my teeth forward more, to give me a better profile (and said invisalign couldn't do this). this ortho moved them back further- and also suggested jaw surgery to move my lower jaw further out, which I declined( 8k additional! I'd rather get implants, LOL.... then again, maybe not...). I'm starting to wish I had gone for normal braces :) It's been 2.5 years!!

Hi there,
Sorry to hear you aren't happy. My clincheck shows my midline off, but I knew when I started that it couldn't be fixed so I was prepared for it. Different if you were expecting it to be right. Did your ortho give you no explanation for what happened?

I am on my last set of uppers right now, but will need to get some refinements as they are not perfect. There are several things that I need to change including movement on one of my front teeth.

I was also offered jaw surgery which terrified me as I didn't think my teeth were that bad. As a compromise I was prepared to accept better teeth rather than perfect teeth, but as time goes on I seem to want them more perfect!
