Hey, My Orto gave me 'The Best of the Best' retainers which are Ivisalign.

I Had them fitted today, and so far were not getting on i have to wear the 24/7 bar eating, swimming, sports.

i was just wondering if its ok to drink with them in?? cause im getting a dry mouth and its making me feel a little sick. I drink orange squash or lucozade. sometimes coke/sprite.

Try not to drink anything but water with them in. Most drinks contain sugar, and when you drink them with your retainers in, your teeth are basically sitting in a bath full of sugar. I cannot find the recent research which said how quickly tooth enamel corrodes when left in a sugar solution but it is scary....

Yep, sorry, it is definitely water only. I found that it is surprising how quickly you can get used to just drinking water instead of fizzy drinks though and I was a diet coke fiend. I still have it, but not when I have my Invisalign in now.
