Starting in October i will have Cigna HDMO coverage and that is when i will start my invisalign process. I am just wondering what insurance company people use for coverage and about how much money did there insurance company cover for there invisalign?

My insurance covered $2000, which I think is pretty good for adult ortho. It's via my husband's company which gets a good deal since it's such a large organization.

I'm on Australia and mine covered $3000ish. That was my full lifetime orthodontic cover but had to be spread over 2 years. That was fine anyway as my treatment is 34 aligners first run.

There should be no difference between coverage for Invisalign or braces. Currently, plans are not distinguishing between the two. Most plans in North America cover a certain percentage up to a lifetime maximum.

Eg. If your fee is $6000 and you have 50% up to $2000 of coverage. You will receive half of your payments back until you've paid $4000. The remaining $2000 will not have any coverage, even in the following year as the benefit is one per lifetime.
