Are refinements included?

I love my ortho, he's the best, but he really does not know much about invisalign due to lack of experience. I'm scandinavian, we don't do invisalign here!
Anyway.. I've been through 25 trays, my teeth are much improved and I'm pretty happy - but they're not as straight as they were supposed to be. And I've paid a lot for this, so I feel like I shouldn't settle for "good enough".
My ortho agrees, and mentioned refinements. But he didn't know if it would cost anything. He would not charge anything for his part of the work, but he wasn't sure if invisalign would charge for the refinements. I live pretty far away from the ortho and it's a hassle and expensive to travel back and forth, so I just decided to go for it anyway and take new impressions while I was there.
I kind of worry about the cost though. Does anyone here know if the refinements are free?
