Invisalign G3: The next generation of Invisalign

Invisalign has just previewed their next generation of aligners.

Part of the goal of this new system is to increase the awareness of Invisalign as a technique, rather than as a product. Unfortunately, while doctors currently have a lot of control with regards to the course of Invisalign care, it is still widely misunderstood by both doctors and the public that treatment is a technique that cannot be dictated by Align technicians.

For those doctors who are currently using Invisalign properly, there will be no difference in the excellent results they have been achieving. There are some tools to make the doctor's work easier, but will have minimal impact on the patient.

I've provided some more info here in a blog entry:

Just got off the conference call about an hour ago. There are some nice changes in G3, but few of them make a difference to those experienced doctors who really understand how Invisalign should be used. I've summarized everything in a blog entry and would happy to address any questions. Enjoy!
