Finally - A change I can see!

Hey all....went to see the ortho today...and received trays 7 through 12. Of course, I rushed straight home and pulled out tray one to compare with 12 and there's such an improvement between the two.

Ortho says my treatment is right on track and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel! This process really seems to be going by faster than I thought it would.

It was a good invisalign day! :D

Congratulations on your progress. :D

I'm jealous. I picked up trays 3 and 4 last week and compared 1 to 4 and could barely see any difference! I'm impatient. I know its a slow process but I could really do with seeing some results after over 5 weeks of hassle!

Pictures would be cool, of your teeth or the comparison of the aligners, if you are able to post them.

It's great to stay motivated like this during your treatment. Seeing changes really helps make you want to wear the aligners!

You can follow along with your treatment in between visits to your doctor by comparing how your teeth look now, to how they look at various stages in your video. If your treatment is going on track, they should look exactly as the clincheck for each stage :).

Thats great! I am excited for you! I changed over to tray two yesterday. I cant really visually see any change, but I can feel a change in the spaces between my teeth when I floss. Its a great motivation to know there is progress!

Thanks everyone - I'm super excited to see some changes coming.

Thanks Dr. Tam, I only just received my Clincheck video....it wasn't offered, but at the last visit I asked about it. The ortho emailed it to me right away and apologized for not having offered it before. He must not have received that request before because he had to figure it out on the spot....luckily, it was very intuitive! :)

Rosie, I'm glad to here my blog was a benifit to someone....I started it to sort of give back, since I've obsessed over people's blogs and videos ever since I decided to start Invisalign. I'm finding that, I enjoy having it for myself as a motivation to document my progress.

Sammy - Don't feel bad....my tray 1 and tray 7 (the one I'm in now) are pretty much identical asthetically. I'm impatient too and have been really clammering for some visual sign of progress. I've have some pics on my blog...just put up the tray 1 and 12 comparison before replying here. Hang in - you'll get there!

Thanks :) I have days when I'm like 'Yeah, its gonna take a while, no worries' and other days where I'm staring at my teeth in the mirror wondering if they are ever going to move! I swear that there is a tiny tiny gap in between my two front upper teeth that is new. I may just be imagining it though.

Great picture on the blog. Can't wait to see a difference like that in my own!

Thanks earphone thingy! You'll be seeing change too before you know it! I'm starting ten on Monday and my top crossbite tooth seems to be pretty much edge to edge with the bottom tooth. Makes it tough to eat...but it screams progress so I'm okay with it.
