i'm waiting for my refinement aligners (I'm wearing my last set of aligners until they arrive) and I was wondering do I still have to bite down on my chewies each day? I am thinking I don't, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

So long as your teeth are in the desired positions, there won't be a huge benefit to you using your chewies. Take a few weeks off with the chewies, but don't forget to keep your aligners in :).

i feel so weird not using them throughout the day--it's great to have a break from them.

can someone explain the chewies to me? My Ortho didnt really go over it - just briefly that you are suppose to chew down on them before you go to bed?? how come? how often? how long?
