Hi all. I've had a consultation for clearstep braces. My dentist thinks it will take about 18-24 months! I can't wait that long but do any of you guys know How long it'll take to see straight front teeth cuz I've heard teeth are straight quite quick into process but they are kept there to keep them in place? Thanxs

hello, i have had braces for just over a year now and it only took 6 months before all my teeth went straight. your orthodontist will also have to fix your bite even if you had a perfect bite before the braces (like me) and that will take around 4 months. good luck!

Thank you for the reply. Did you have traditional braces or the clear step? I need my teeth straight for may or June but my dentist has said 18-24 Months. If it takes that long to see a proper difference I'd rather go for the 6 month smiles treatment which works within 4-9 months..thannx

What are clearstep braces? An alternative to Invisalign?

If your orthodontist says it will take 18-24 months, then he/she won't change that estimate if you wait 6 months to get them - it'll be 18-24 months from the point that you get them.
You'll be 2 years older in 24 months, with or without straight teeth and a good bite.
