waiting to brush VS time out of aligners

I've read that in order not to cause damage to your enamel, you should wait 1/2 hour after eating before you brush. However, this is an extra 1/2 hour without trays (on top of how long it takes to eat). How long do you guys wait before brushing? With how many times a day brushing is required with aligners, I'm a little afraid I'll have no enamel left at the end of my two years!

I had the same concerns, I feel like I am over brushing my teeth sometimes. I'm not prepared to wait an extra 30 mins after eating, so I just lightly brush after every meal with a pea-sized amount of toothpaste just to get any remaining food out of my teeth. Mainly concentrating on the molars and only briefly sweeping over my front teeth. Then obviously they get a good old clean/floss etc. in the evening and first thing in the morning. The aligners stay quite fresh and I have had no problems so far. I'm sure everyone has their own techniques though, hope this helps! :)
