It was 3 weeks to the day for me. My orthodontist does a fairly high volume of invisalign, though, so his may go through faster, and he's experienced in making the treatment plan for it.

my office said 3 to 6 weeks, hoping it's closer to 3... ironic that I spent years considering whether to do this and am now having difficulty waiting a few weeks to get started.

If you had your aligners fabricated using the PVS impressions (the old fashioned way), you are probably looking at about 5 weeks.

However, many orthodontists now have iTero a digital scanner for your teeth, which beams digital models of your teeth straight to Align and gets your treatment started sooner. With the digital scan you can get your treatment started in as little time as 10 days (though some doctors may have you back later to devote more time to your digital treatment plan). Additionally, iTero scans will produce a better fit of your aligners than your traditional impressions and save you from having to go through the goopy gaggy process of impressions. We have been using ours for hundreds of patients so far and it has been awesome. If you are looking for a doctor who has one, just look for the iTero icon on the Invisalign doctor locator on their website.

I got mine in TWO! They told me 4-6 weeks, but also told me I'd come in the DAY they were sending a package out, so I might get mine a little earlier. I waited and waited. Called at 2.5 weeks because I was about to die to get them! And they told me, "Oh yeah, they've been here since FRIDAY!" What! :)
