Thought that I would drop a quick note to everyone to introduce myself. I have had my braces on for almost 3 weeks now. My ortho only uses the Damon 3 system and she seems to think that I will see a whole boatload of movement before my first adjustment at the beginning of September. So far, I can't really tell that my teeth have moved any, but my incisors feel loose and wobbly. I have always hated my teeth but could not afford to get them fixed till now. Even now that I had the money, I was scared. I have lived with my teeth for 26 yrs and to be honest, I had gotten used to them. My ortho says that I am a class 2 something or another. All I know is that the 2 teeth next to my front teeth are tilted backward and stick out. Any who, I only have my top braces on now until my overbite gets straightened out.

Welcome to the club, blonco! It's great to hear you have had progress. Those wobbly teeth will be moving soon. Since you're so accustomed to your teeth, you might not notice the slight movement. Take lots of pictures and you'll be amazed! I've had Damon 3s for a month and have seen surprisingly noticeable movement. How long is your treatment?
