Hi All,

I had self-ligating metal braces fitted to my lower teeth last Friday with ceramics or a retainer style brace for my uppers to follow.

It's all pretty exciting, uncomfortable but not too painful, and I miss being able to chew!

I can't get my back teeth together at all at the moment because my upper right canine catches on the block below it

I'm sure it will work itself out once my teeth start moving

Hope your chewing problems sort themselves out, Salacia! I'm getting my metal braces on the bottom in 6 weeks, so you're ahead of me.
