i have to hve mine on for around 2 years he couldnt give me any definate time as im not having any extractions which would have made the length of time much shorter but i opted for the mini screws which apparently will take about a year to get everything to where it should be.

Well, it is supposed to be about 1 year. My teeth were rubbing together on one side, giving me such headaches, and wearing my enamel off, so I figured I better take care of it!!

so have you got a blog with pics of your own ? what did you think was more painful having on, your lower braces or your upper?
Well, the bottoms are much worse to me, they are always rubbing the insides of your mouth, doesn't seem like as much room down there! The uppers are not to noticable to me. But at night, goodness! I am always biting the insides of my cheeks when I sleep! I wonder am I the only one this happens to? Haha! Yes, my bite was off, so it was pushing the two teeth next to my front ones out. I hated that look, so I didn't want it to get worse. I thought I started a blog, but now I am not so sure. I dont' think I really know how to do it!!
ohh great so i got all the pain to look forward to when i get my lowers i guess. i did have a proper blogspot but i deleted it and just decided to make this one. just so i can keep record of how my teeth are moving and looking, and so other people can check it out too
Well, its just like there is not enough room in my mouth! But don't worry, it will be fine, I just used lots of wax for a week until my mouth toughed up! I only notice it if I do tons of talking. I want to make a blog, I just am not sure how to make a link. I guess I will go to the section to ask questions and see if I can figure it out!
Wow Sam!! Your uppers are moving so fast!! I love the plum ligs, they are really cute! I may have to try them! My lowers have been moving like crazy since they put these wire ties on, I am going to take some pics, because I can't believe it, and I don't want to miss capturing the progress!
hehe yay!, unfortunatly my ortho says they will start sticking out a bit so il look a bit goofy, but im not fussed aslong as there nice and straight. i cant wait to see what a couple more months will look like with my teeth hehe its very exciting.
i was wondering, other than wax what can help with sore cheeks.
from having my bottom braces put on it has caught my cheeks so bad and there really sore
