Finally Did It At 40

#1 Post by Impulse »

Hi, been secretly unhappy about my teeth all my life. :( Front 2 upper protrude 9mm and overlap other teeth :( re-occurring tooth ache and wisdom movement made a decision for me! Wont remove wisdoms as healthy-SO- removal of both upper first molars 6/6 which were crowned.First one went through to sinus- painful and unexpectly awkward ( cant blow nose, suck straw, whistle!) so everything put back 2 weeks. 2nd molar removed, bit of bone chipped off under gum and wait a week to remove it. EVENTUALLY got my ceramic clear upper brace fitted 14/5. Fine that day but WAS NOT EXPECTING THE PAIN next day!! All teeth numb/hurt. After 3 days found it a different tooth every day except one of the front ones feels permanently 'wierd' but whats normal?! Probably lost my bite for next 18 mnts. Will be having 4 front lower braced in few months just to send them back down a bit as the top protrude so much the lowers have 'overgrown'. Excited, nervous, proud and so,so happy this site exists :D Thanx

Congratulations!

I got braced on 14/5 as well but both top and bottom with what I am referring to as "baby" wires and the molars were not wired. I go back in 2 days to change the wires to the real deal.
