hi everyone! i am sooo glad i found this site! im getting incognito braces in 3 weeks and im freking out!!!! im really worried about my speech as im a vet nurse so work with the public on a daily basis! i have to have 2 teeth out on the top too eeeek! im also worried that im guna look different afterwards! aaarrhhh so many worries! lol if someone that has had or has lingual braces could give me some info that would be fab! =)

I haven't heard of Incognito braces?? What are they? I'm getting my 6 month smile braces on friday-I'm also freaking out and am a human nurse!! I'm kind of dreading the attention it will bring to my mouth-especially as i work with children-they'll no doubt point them out!! But if it means nice straight teeth like the pics on here-it WILL be worth it!! Good luck!!! K

aww thanks hun! =) yeah incognito there the ones that they put on the back of your teeth! there costing a fortune and i nearly changed my mind and was going to get ceramic white ones but then realised that id only started to look at getting braces coz id heard of hidden ones so thought sod it i work hard ill treat myself haha but ive read they really effect your speech! crap! haha yeah we will have gorgeous gnashers which is the main thing! how old are u by the way? im 25 i wish i had got braces when i was a kid and not been such a wuss about it! lol x

Incognito braces, love that. Please let us know how that goes. As far as speech goes, I have brackets and seem to have develop a small lisp. Joy! My fiancee told me once with a faux lisp, "I'm going upstairs to listen to my Britney Spears CD!" Oh boy. Does anybody else have this issue?
