tomorrow is my big day!!!!!!

Well tomorrow is the day I find out if I will have to have the temporary anchorage screws.

I'm really very nervous about the whole thing as I have a regular adjustment at the same appointment.

This is my first adjustment with my top teeth braced as well, so I think this will be a longer appointment than normal and I am expecting to be a little more sore.

And I have to go to work after my appointment, wish me luck

I'm nervous about the addition to my family tomorrow. I promise to obey the orders of my ortho, only bummer is he doesn't use color bands during treatment. So it will be pretty boring at times, but the braces are attractive ( I keep telling myself that) so I will rely on that to get me through. I really wanted some hot pink and black and pink and green bands... I know I'm 37 years old and so what, I get carded all of the time still talk about good genes... I'm telling myself that this is a mind over matter situation and I have a major surgery coming up in January, so this should be minor...

Well, good luck with that! Let us know how it goes. I'm finding that hearing about the experiences of others is VERY helpful! I'm almost 49 years old, and gads, sometimes I feel like I'm going to a pediatrician's office for health care :-s

So I went to my appointment with my heart racing, I'm happy to note that i didn't have to have the tad's put in........ at this appointment........ it seems that my teeth just aren't striaght enough for those screws. So lucky me my otho said most likley at the next appointment. ( another 5 weeks of no sleep)

I just don't cope with proceedures anymore, I just fall to pieces, I need to get over this one day I guess, and be a grown up.

I was told I also might need TADs, and I just looked them up. The first thought that crossed my mind was, "YIKES!!"
