first adjustment at 12 weeks!

Just back from the ortho's office having had my first adjustment. i'm 12 weeks braced today.
He put on new wires (top and bottom) which I think are 19/25 (whatever that means!). Feeling much tighter now but not too painful.
He said that I would likely have a new set of wires placed at the next appointment scheduled for 20 March (8 week from now - 20 weeks braced). Then after that there would be the third wires and elastics to start really closing up spaces!
I'm feeling very positive now. The ortho is very pleased with progress and thinks it will take as long as he first expected - 15-18 months! he showed me my before pics and I can really see the difference in alignment. This new set of wires is to finish off the alignment (much more subtly) and then the 3rd set will be to start off the space-closing and the 4th and final set will finish this up! So nice to have a forward plan.
Getting used to this bracket racket and hoping the next few months go as well as the first three have!

So they showed you like how things are going to go in the future..and the plans for your teeth? They haven't shown me anything or told me the plan for mine.
