new member: plan to install braces the 2nd time + implant

Hi all,

I'm a new member, male in his late 30s living in Indonesia. Had braces from 2006 to 2008. Have worn retainer ever since, during sleep, about 2-3 nights a week now. My teeth have now moved slightly but not to the point of really needing another set of braces. The reason I'm planning to get braces this second time is to install a dental implant. One of my lower incisor (#24) was missing from birth (including the root). After the first set of braces was taken off in 2008, there is enough gap to install an implant for that missing tooth, but I chose not to get any dental implant (probably already too happy with the improved teeth). Now that the gap has closed about halfway, I thought to myself that I would like that dental implant now, but an ortho work would need to be done first.

I'll be mostly reading the posts here just to freshen my knowledge on this topic. I'm also registering on a dental implant forum.
