Hi Guys,
I've missed y'all so much!!!! I've been searching the forum for topics on exercise, fitness, running, jogging and not finding much. I guess all the upkeep on our dental work keeps us indoors! I'll be braced on Feb 17 and I've got several concerns /questions about all sort of activities I should be doing:
Swimming - How soon I can swim after my braces go on?
Running - I've started jogging as one of my 2006 resolutions I haven't been aware of how I've been clenching my teeth while I run.
Weights (at the gym) - another teeth clenching moment
Sleeping - Can I still sleep on my side?
Yes, I will also ask my orthodontist too - but his answers would be quite different from YOUR EXPERIENCES. Thanks again for your help!!!!

I wouldn't really worry about any sort of physical activity hurting your braces' job or whatever. As far as I know you can do everything you do now with braces on (well with the exception of eating everything you want, but you already know that , just be aware of what you're doing, where your mouth is, etc.
Good luck and have fun!

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your replies!!!! I glad that there's nothing to worry about!
I'll be more confident and careful while. Everything should go "swimmingly"
KK "congrats on getting active ... I just wish you could motivate me! "
The secret is to "be Baywatch Bionic" (If you can't do it fast then look damn good doing it slow)
Thanks again!
Sandy
