As much as I have been brushing my teeth and braces and RELIGIOUSLY flossing, I was surprised to see a couple of white spots on my teeth . I also have been using a floride rinse regularly. I'm not sure if my teeth are getting too much floride?
Any idea what this could be? It's not the glue from the braces... My diet has been fine, teeth clean, using floride...
I have been using too much flouride! I have been using Act to keep my teeth strong since having braces. That and brushing like crazy with flouride toothpaste and having flouride in our water I believe is causing the white spots . Okay, now I'm on a mission to stop it! Funny though, the article states that part of treatment is flouride .
Okay, the information that I've further gathered is that it is probably not from too much fluoride intake as this usually happens as a child, not in the adult years. I am not drinking the fluoride rinse!
I am going to get my teeth whitened when I'm done. There are only a couple spots and they are tiny. I'm just paranoid about having bad teeth after my braces come off.
