Hello from France

#1 Post by Pneumatix »

Hello,

I'm Laurent. I've got upper clear and lower metal braces with an upper quad Helix.
My treatment starts 15 march 2004 and should be 20 months.
Depending on the evolution I will need surgery.

Anyone else from France ?

No, but I'm from Belgium, so that's pretty close :-) Plus, I'm half 'francophone' AND I have French relatives... hmmm it doesn't sound bad at all.... I'm kinda 'demi-française', sounds chique :D

Where in France are you from?

I only spent a few weeks in France because the Musée des Tumulus Bougon invited a couple of students from my school. :)
99 weeks in braces (4 Dec 2003 - 27 Oct 2005)

Great

I am not very far from Bougon (less than 200 kms) but I don't know this musée. So much things to do...

Is it interresting ?

First day with elastics :D Not so bad...
First, I have to wear only one on the right side during the day and both sides during the night. Later I will have both sides during the day.

Also the ortho told me to eat with them. Honestly, it's not as bad as I could imagine. The food getting stuck in braces is worst than elastics.

Which me luck. If elastics doesn't work as expected, I should have surgery :(
