About to get Fast Braces

are you just doing the top teeth? and was this your dentist's recommendation? i hear many people saying its not a good idea. what made you decide on fast braces vs traditional?

I haven't been on this site in quite a while. As you'll see from my original post it was 3 years since I got the fastbraces. When they were removed I was really pleased with the results. I just had the front top teeth moved. However, they started moving back pretty much straight away. I'd wear my retainer at night and wake up ok but through the day the teeth moved. My dentist was really good about it and I ended up going for a traditional fixed brace on my top teeth which straightened the front, widened my smile and closed a gap I had near the back. A much better result. Should have done that in the first place. I didn't pay any extra for that but obviously it took more time. I guess the fastbraces idea really was too good to be true. I thought I'd be too self conscious for a full brace but I was fine. They did give me white though which helped.
