Getting braces in three weeks - any advice for a newbie?

eat all the crunchy/hard foods and candies you can now! once your braces are on its goodbye for the entirety of your treatment time.its been the hardest part for me i can't wait to be allowed chips, nuts, candies like snickers and butterfingers again and all the other crunchy stuff I'm not allowed. i also invested in a nice electric toothbrush and water pik and am super glad i decided to, they are both life savers and time savers when it comes to cleaning my teeth with braces on them.other then that just go with the flow they really are not all that bad!
