i finally figured this out!
the first pic is my before braces:
this is my smile with pretty shiny pink braces!!
like i said i can't wait to see the results.

Hi lala,
Looks like you have the same canine issues that I do.. I'm curious, do the brackets on those two teeth bother the inside of your lips more than the others?
Can't wait to see how you progress as you'll be about six weeks ahead of me!

i have extra tension on my upper and lower. my uppers don't bother me too much except for my lip getting caught on the wire. my lowers really bug me and i use dental wax to cover them.
my next appointment is in september...i can't wait!

i don't have much soreness now...i did the first few days after i was braced- oweee!!
it's gotten better...i'm still eating soft foods.

Hi Lala!
That looks great!!! And believe me the wire straigthens much quicker than one would expect!!!

Hi Lala!
I'm looking forward to watching your progress! I get my braces on in October and I'm using this website to dig up as much advise that I can for the beginnings of my treatment. I'm expecting the worst!!

cmm1280 Don't worry about it, its going to come so quick and then the second you get brace put on its going to feel like you just got them on when they are coming right off. You'll be fine, and yes this is the site to come to for some advice. I've gotten much advice from this site and enjoy it all.
