i'm new here and I just got my braces yesterday
I'm feeling really sore in my upper right cheeks and my tongue because of my banded molars on top and bottom though
i can't wait for these to come off!

i got what my ortho calls R brackets, they look a lot like the damon brackets.

oh yeah, here is a picture of my teeth / braces. i'm not sure how long i'll have them on for, but no longer than 2 years.

Hi Alexed!
Congrats on taking the plunge! I'm new to this website too. I will be getting my braces on in October and I can't wait. From what I have seen, this is a great place to get tips (such as the salt water rinse) which sound very helpful. I know I will be using this site regularly.
