New support forum

I'm into my fifteenth month in braces and thought it was time to use some of my skills to create a new support forum for people with braces and those undergoing orthognathic surgery, like myself. With the new technology available on the web I was able to create a Web 2.0 forum for everyone like us.

The new site was just officially launched today and everyone is welcome to join and participate.

um. i don't think it's very polite to advertise for another forum on a forum. but that's just my opinion. it seems very disrespectful to the administrator on this board. or did you already check it out with her first and she gave the go ahead?

X.

My apologies

Karen, thanks for the encouragement. It's great to see you're still around.

My apologies if I offended or upset anyone by advertising a new forum. I am not trying to compete or replace this forum at all. That would be impossible with the popularity of this great site and why would I want to? My goal is to have as many places on the web we can all go to for support and advice and to contribute back to the community that I have received from.

Cary

My apologies

As a webmaster, it is disrespectful to advertise on one forum for another forum. It steals traffic from one site to another and I personally would delete this post if I was the administrator of these forums but its up to Lynn.

I think it's cool that one of our readers was inspired to create a new forum -- although yes, I do wish you had given me a heads-up before you posted it here!

I will not remove the post, because I believe that the pond is big enough for all fish who want to take a swim!

Best of luck, Cary. But one word of advice: watch out for the fetish people and the spammers. They are both very persistent!
