New to all this...

#1 Post by Zyenthillias »

Hey!
I've been having bite problems for a while now, and just recently was told that the best solution would be getting braces. Sure, it's not the end of the world, but I just read an article talking about how the best ages are between 8 and 12, and it only gets more painful from there...well, I'm 16, and at the moment we're planning to get them on in June, so needless to say, I'm not feeling very reassured. But any rate, I'm glad I found this forum, and I hope it's as supportive as I think it will be! (By the way, check out my website if you get the chance. It's not too big just yet, but all handcoded from scratch, so I'm still proud of it)

Hi Zyenthillias and welcome to Metal Mouth. I would think you will be fine at 16. Many of us are a lot older and we are going through what you will be going through. You can do it! Just keep a positive outlook as you go on your journey to a better bite. Good luck. :D

hey Zyenthillias! Welcome to the forum, you'll find plenty of great people here who know exactly what you are going through. I think you are really lucky only being 16!! Better than being 21 at least :-7
All the best!
