Noob here. Howdy.

Hello All,
I've finally made the decision to get braces, although I should have gotten them when I was 13 and it was apparent that the baby tooth wasn't going anywhere.
I'm now 32 and I STILL have my baby tooth (it's hanging on for dear life) with the adult canine behind it, just dying to get in front. What's ironic is that people always compliment me on my 'straight, white' teeth. HA!
Anyway, like I'm sure all of you were, I'm awfully nervous and partly excited to finally fix a problem that has plagued me for over 20 years.
I'm trying really hard not to freak out about the fact that I'm a single gal who is going to be terribly self-concious about her smile. Like it ain't hard enough "out there".
I've chewed your ear off (or eyes, as it were) enough. Thanks for listening. The support seems incredilble here.
