Just braced this morning!

I just got my braces put on this morning (ceramic upper and lowers).

I'm 20 years old, and while younger than a lot of you, this has been a long time coming. I was told that I needed braces from as far back as I can remember. My parents just never had the money to put both my sister (also getting braces this summer) in braces. So now, nine months after my father died and we inherited a lot of money through insurance, we can finally afford to fix our mouths.

Found this website just searching through a google search, and I must say it's the greatest!

Welcome to AW nozzleramkiddo! I'm sorry to hear that you lost your father. How sad. But I'm glad you're finally able to start your braces journey! It's nice that your sister will be going through this experience with you. Has she visited AW?

Hello and welcome! Although the way you got the money is very sad, it's great that you will be able to get the smile you've always wanted.
