yesterday, i had 4 premolars extracted... my teeth are crooked crowded, but now my mouth feels so empty with these 4 gaps. been in my braces for 1 week now - want to know do the gaps really close? and how soon? also, i know everyone's different, but i'm curious to know from those who've had extractions, how did your facial profile change?? is your face more narrow?
I was wondering the same thing. I had my extractions done 11 days ago and I really feel like my face is slightly more narrow. This may all be in my head though
I had 4 teeth pulled (4th on each side). Huge gaps closed fast on the top in about 4 months. In month 8 now and still have small gaps on the bottom. My friends say that my face is actually looking wider believe it or not.
