Good morning and hello from the United Kingdom.

I had braces put on over a year ago, due to my upper teeth being quite messy!

My teeth aren't fantastic (typical Brit!) and I thought it was about time to make the best of a bad bunch!

I went into hiding straight after I had them put on, but slowly have found my feet again and am back to my old self.

Now the end is looming I am more positive than ever, and cannot wait to show of my new knasher set-up to all my old mates!

It has been a joy reading the posts on here, and love how positive everybody is (typical Americans! - British people are so negative in comparison - not a nice trait!)

Anyhow, hello and not long now until I can begin turning down modeling agencies

You're so lucky - a year on and the finishing post is in sight! Can't wait to get there myself!

I'm also a fellow Brit, and am actually a very positive and optimistic person! I haven't noticed especially that people here have particularly manky teeth, I thought that you get good and bad everywhere!

Anyway, best of luck, hope your de-bracing day comes soon then hopefully you'll feel like your glass is half full rather than half empty!
