I've been on a few consultations even had the panoramic x-ray but never went through with getting the braces.

Now that I'm 24, graduated from college, I want them...now!

And I'm happy to say I met with a great ortho today and I'm getting started next week!

I'm anxious about work most of all because I talk on the phone and don't want my voice to be completely out of order and my boss to fire me. But anywho, just wanted to say hi! I live in california and will be posting pics soon so you can all see why I want braces in the first place. My teeth aren't terrible just not straight and I have a cross bite with one tooth crooked due to overcrowding as a child. My parents could never afford it, and to be honest, don't think I should "waste" the money. But I feel like my life and confidence will be much improved so I'm doing it. I can't tell you how many jobs I think I would have landed if I had nice teeth.

So I guess we shall see!

I love your attitude! Wish I constantly had the same optimistic outlook as you do. You've inspired me to try harder to do so.
