I'm new here so I thought I'd say hi my names Rachel. I'm 24 and I had my braces fitted yesterday. They are so sore ATM.

I thought I'd add a little more info as I was very tired yesterday. I have fixed braces top and bottom. I have microdontia. Spelling?? And missing lateral insisors. I had very poor treatment when I was 15 that ruined my confidence in othodontics. I'm on day 3 now and having alot of trouble eating. I have dental cement on my lower back teeth to prevent me biting my lower brakets off. Now my teeth don't meet at all. Im hoping I can get used to my new bite soon. Will post pics later.

Congrats on your new braces. I hope your soreness goes away soon, and your bite becomes more comfortable for you. Enjoy your braces journey, I can't wait to start mine.

congrats and best of luck to you on your journey, can't wait to see pics i got my braces at 24 and will be getting them off next month you will be so happy you did this for yourself, i hope the pain subsides for you soon!

I have missing laterals too Do you know if you're doing space closure or implants, or something else? Good luck with your treatment!
