Braces at 27 -- starting to see some movement!

Hello, all!

Well, after wanting braces for most of my life, I finally got to a place in my life where I could become a metal mouth. Actually, I have clear ceramic braces, so I suppose I'm a ceramic mouth. I've always had a canine tooth that sticks out, but in the last couple of years, my front teeth have become more crooked.

I got braces on July 19 and had one premolar (behind the canine) extracted on the same day. The extraction was worse than I anticipated; it took them over an hour to pull it. (Ugh.) The braces were not bad at all. I had my first adjustment this week, and that was not fun. I have a power chain on the eyetooth ... also not fun. Anyway, I'm excited to already be seeing progress.

It's not a huge change, but I'm already seeing movement in the front teeth. Looking forward to more changes!!

Are you kidding me? It's a HUGE change. My god, how much it moved. That's super. You'll have moments with less visible changes, but this one is pretty serious. best of luck with the treatment. It does seem to work pretty well
