Morning all,
I've been lurking here the past couple months, thought I'd register and participate a bit. I'm 41, and 4 months into a planned 18 month treatment.

Welcome. I'm 41 as well and have had upper braces for about 9 months. Still have a ways to go before I can get my lowers.

I hope you enjoy your experiences here.

Braces as Phase II treatment for TMJD.
Lower mandibular repositioning splint 26 months.
Lower braces on 10.75 months into Phase II treatment.
Duration in braces: 2 years, 2 weeks, 5 days
Removal of Braces: September 18, 2013

TMJD treatment now complete!
