Short term ceramic braces

#1 Post by timjam »

Just a quick helo.

Had some short term ceramic braces fitted today to correct anterior guidance problem and generally straiten things up.

So far, so good. The only discomfort is the "Bite guards" which stop the back teeth fro closing fully.

Hope people on here are right hen they say you don't notice after a while.

I have ceramic braces on top and had bite guards on early in my process. I can't say that I never noticed the braces or bite guards but you do get used to it. I was glad I had the bite guards even though it seemed they got in the way. You would be biting down hard on your braces, which is not a good thing and hurts without the bite guards. I also noticed my bite guards flattened out within a few days making them less effective and sometimes they just fell out.
