New to braces

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I am 40 years old and just got my metal braces upper and lower this week. It really has not been that bad, very little pain. The one thing I noticed is my 4 lb chihuahua is not happy when she sees my braces/smile, lol. I look forward to reading everyones posts and learning more. Thanks! :tingrin:

Hi, I just got mine yesterday- uppers only and i'm not having any problems either (yet) Long may it continue! :D I am looking forward to seeing my grandchildrens reaction to them :lol:

I am 53 and got my braces put on 7 weeks ago. The first week was difficult eating but other than that it hasn't been bad at all. I was so nervous for nothing. I go for my first adjustment on Monday so will probably be sore for a few days after. Hope everything keeps going good for you.
