Gum contouring thoughts

During one of my orthodontic visits, I asked my orthodontist about possible dental bonding on my upper lateral incisors since they have been worn down due to their position prior to braces. They are at a bit of an angle. She said that the upper lateral incisors usually appear to be at an angle but if I wanted to get bonding later I could. She also said my cuspids are a bit longer and pointed and that she could grind them down a bit at the end of treatment. She has already ground down a few teeth that were a bit jagged and uneven and the results were great. I was actually surprised they did that. I had figured I'd have to get that done at my regular dentist. But hey, it's less cost for me as this was done during my normal orthodontic visit which I was very happy about. Anyway, I have gone off from the original topic. lol Back to gum contouring. Not only do my upper lateral incisors appear to be angled but the gum line on both of the upper lateral incisors are a bit low and gives them the appearance that the teeth are not coming forward from their once back position. My orthodontist mentioned that I could get gum contouring. I won't be looking into this until the braces come off. My question is, has anyone had this done and what was the cost? I know this probably varies with each dental office. I'm just trying to get an approximate range so I kind of know what to expect.
