hey everyone, i'm 25 and just got braces on yesterday. i've had them once before in elementary school. i was in junior high when i got them taken off and was put in a retainer. i remember the orthodontist telling me that i would be wearing my retainer probably for the rest of my life and at that moment i decided that that wasn't going to happen and my teeth now look like i never even had braces. what a waste huh! so here i am and so excited to be starting this again. they say about 20 months and i will also be having jaw surgery in about a year-15 months.
