Introduction...

Hi!
I'm Megera and I live in Northern Canada. I tried to register a few days ago but I never got an activation code

I'm [hopefully!] getting my braces on tomorrow morning (24.11.05)! I was supposed to have them on last month but there was a bit of a mix up.

I'm just getting a braces journal set up and then I'll share before/etc pictures

It actually went a lot quicker than I thought it would (about 45 min)! I got self-ligating brackets on the top and the bottom.

The first day wasn't too bad, some soreness but nothing unbearable and yesterday was very painful

Now that I have 1Â½ (out of four) of the little stick things left, I think the assistant was on drugs when she said one little box lasted a year... I'm on a mission on Monday to find some (since my ortho is only in town once every 6 weeks)... I live in a pretty small/isolated place so I might not be able to find any... I ordered some wax yesterday but that will take a bit to get here.

I've been doing salt water rinses every night

The canker sores are almost gone

(which hopefully means the wax can go soon too)
