Ha, I can see there is a lot of us over thirty crowd on here. I'm 42!!!
I had a brace, removable type, when I was about 20 but had a lot of trouble with a nasty abcess and swollen face and unsympathetic dentist and because it was removable, it was too easy to give up!
How I wished my mother had insisted on me wearing a brace when I first needed one, at 14! I know if my kids need treatment, they wouldn't get away with it (and I have 'very' stroppy teenagers). My 15 year old has his appt in February!
So, now I'll be going the fixed route and there will be no backing out!!!
I will know when I have the right ortho, it will be gut feeling, I don't think I'll be needing a spreadsheet but thanks for the advice!
The one I saw last week was really nice and I felt comfortable with her and have actually made an appt to go back but I thought I'd go see the guy that my son has an appt with. Might be handy being with the same one!
Thanks guys for all the supprt, glad I found this site! Lots of exclamation marks!
