Hi everyone, Im new here and this is my first post.

I will be getting braced on the 9th May 2006. I just turned 18 in February there and I have finally decided that I need to get this over with.

I so wish that I had got it earlier when I was around 14 - 15, but I just didn't want them, but now, Im more mature and understand that this is a must do.

Im single and it looks like I will probably be single for another 2 years, not really looking forward to the whole thing but I know it has to be done.

dear god, here I am a bit over a year later.

Still got the braces on, still have about 4 maybe 5 months to go

I'v got latex elastics on to close 2 gaps.

Waiting on the gaps where the teeth extractions were to close.

I haven't truly smiled for 17 months, its been hard.
