One Year Old Today...

Today marks my one year anniversary in braces. It's been a tough year. Some days I'm really excited about the ole metal mouth, and other days I'm a little discouraged. You all know how it is. Regardless of whether it's an up or down day, I still think I made the right choice and really am happy with the progress.

Just made a little side by side comparison (very poorly because I'm a little cramped for time and must put perfection aside...) to celebrate my braces' first birthday!

Top braces: 4/28/04
Bottom braces: 11/16/05
Last Adjustment: February 28, 2006 where they gave me a new bottom wire and attached my impacted canine, newly bracketed, to the wire! OUCH!

Alexa this is such an inspiration to me! The change is dramatic! I just have to post some pictures. I was going to get my before pictures from the ortho at the last appointment but my normal guy wasn't there!
