Upper braces "holding the cold in"?

#1 Post by CelestialVoices »

Hi Doc and everyone else,

I was just wondering how normal it is for upper braces to "hold the cold in" while eating/drinking certain things.

Sometimes when I eat ice cream, or drink something super cold, my upper braces will feel like they keep the cold feeling inside them and it makes my teeth hurt until they "warm up" again.

I can actually feel the cold leaving those spots, it's strange! Any suggestions to what that could be? None of this seems to happen with my lowers, however.

Thanks! :)

That makes a lot of sense, since my body heat made the wire stiffen up in the first place, thanks for pointing out the obvious KK :)
