wisdom teeth pulled lead to uneven smile?

Hi,
I recently had my wisdom teeth pulled (last week). I had only 3 removed...one on top, 2 on the bottom. The oral surgeon said he wanted the top wisdom teeth to grow down a bit and remove it next year. I recently read online that having uneven sets of wisdom teeth removed can cause my smile to be off-centered. Is that true? Is that going to be okay that I remove my last wisdom teeth next year?

I hate to say be careful what you read online but... I would not worry the slightest if you were my sister and had an uneven number of wisdom teeth. One tooth is not holding your smile together from it's position in the back of the arch. You're cool.
